Answering your Frequently Asked Questions

What should I do if my pet may have eaten something poisonous?

If your pet has eaten something that is not part of their normal diet, or you are unsure whether something may be toxic, please contact the ASPCA Animal Poison Control Center right away.

Many foods and household items that are safe for people can be dangerous for cats and dogs. The ASPCA team can help determine the risk and provide a case number if your pet needs veterinary care.

A wellness exam is $63.75. Because every pet's needs are unique, the total cost of a visit depends on the services your pet requires.

Our team is happy to provide estimates for wellness exams, vaccinations, surgeries, dental procedures, and other services before your appointment whenever possible.

When should my pet be spayed or neutered?

During your pet's wellness examination, your veterinarian will discuss the best recommendation for your individual pet and answer any questions you have about the procedure and recovery.
